Introduction


Unchecking a channel in the TiVo Channel List means the channel will not:

  • Display in the Guide or appear when using channel up / channel down

  • Appear in Search results or WishList search

  • Record any programming or show up in TiVo Suggestions

Series 4 TiVos

     

    TiVo Central | Settings & Messages| Settings | Channels | Channel List


    • TiVo Minis do not have this option; channels are controlled by the host TiVo

    • Arrow up or down to highlight a channel

      • Press Select to check or uncheck the channel as needed

      • Checked channels display in the Guide, Search results and Record properly

    • When finished arrow right to highlight Done and press Select to confirm the changes
 

Series 5 TiVos

     

    TiVo Central | Settings & Messages| Channel Settings | Channel List

    • TiVo Minis do not have this option; channels are controlled by the host TiVo

    • Arrow up or down to highlight a channel

      • Press Select to check or uncheck the channel as needed

      • Checked channels display in the Guide, Search results and Record properly

    • When finished back out of the page; it will save
 

Series 5 TiVo Experience 4

     

    TiVo Central | arrow left to Menu | Settings | Channel Settings | Channel List


    • TiVo Minis do not have this option; channels are controlled by the host TiVo

    • Arrow up or down to highlight a channel

    • Press Select or OK to check or uncheck the channel as needed

    • Checked channels display in the Guide, Search results and Record properly

    • When finished back out of the page; it will save
 

Ensure All Video Providers are Available

    Series 4 TiVos

       

      TiVo Central | Settings & Messages | Settings | Channels | Add & Manage Video Apps

      • Make sure the video provider you subscribe to is checked (Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, etc.)

     

    Series 5 TiVos

       

      TiVo Central | Settings & Messages | User Preferences | Add & Manage Apps

      • Make sure the video provider you subscribe to is checked (Netflix, Hulu or HBO GO, etc.)

     

    Series 5 TiVo Experience 4

       

      TiVo Central | left arrow to Menu | Settings | User Preferences  | Add & Manage Apps

      • Make sure the video provider you subscribe to is checked (Netflix, Hulu or HBO GO, etc.)
