Introduction


Pending Restart displays when TiVo downloaded an updated software version, and is waiting for a period of inactivity to install the update 
  • TiVo looks for a four hour inactivity window with no recordings scheduled and no remote use, before installing the update

  • To force the software update install, manually restart the TiVo

  • Once the TiVo restarts, the software downloads, which may take up to an hour
