Introduction


If you are unable to get to the menu settings, please unplug the TiVo from its power source, then plug back in after 15 seconds to manually restart the TiVo

  • The box may take up to 5 minutes to restart
 
Resolution Steps
 
  • Series 4 TiVos: go to TiVo Central | Settings & Messages | Help | Restart or Reset | Restart the TiVo box

    • Press Thumbs Down three (3) times and press Enter

  • Series 5 TiVos:  go to TiVo Central | Settings & Messages | Help | Restart Box

    • Press Thumbs Down three (3) times and press Enter

  • For Series 5 TiVo Experience 4, go to TiVo Central | left arrow to Menu | Help | Restart Box

    • Press Thumbs Down three (3) times and press Enter
