Resolution Steps


To begin, move your pointer to the bottom right corner without clicking to access the Charms Bar

  1. Click Settings in the Charms Bar.

  2. In Settings, click on the Wi-Fi icon.  If there are available wireless networks but your computer has not connected to any of them, the Wi-Fi icon will read Available underneath.

  3. Windows will display a list of available wireless networks.  Click the Wireless router which belongs to the customer.

  4. After selecting customer's router, click the Connect button that will appear in the Wi-Fi networks list.

  5. Windows may display checking network requirements while it detects the security settings for the wireless network.

  6. Enter the customers Security Key, then click OK.

  7. After successfully connecting to the wireless network and getting an IP address, Windows will display the Wi-Fi networks list with the customer router as Connected.
